Teori terkuat perihal masuknya agama Hinddu Buddha di Indonesia menurut saya adalah teori Waisya. Teori ini terkait dengan pendapat N.J. Krom yang mengatakan bahwa kelompok yang berperan dalam penyebaran Hindu-Buddha di Asia Tenggara, termasuk Indonesia adalah kaum pedagang.  Berdasarkan sejarah, nusantara sudah terkenal dengan arus perdagangan dari berbagai penjuru dunia. Jadi merupakan hal yang wajar apabila banyak bangsa-bangsa asing termasuk India yang berduyun-duyun datang ke Indonesia.
